Membership in Unity Capital Group is selective, private, and built on mutual accountability. We are not open to the general public — we grow through referrals, because trust is the foundation of everything we do.
Eligibility Requirements
UCG membership is open to Kenyans living in the United States who meet the following criteria. All applicants are subject to verification and approval by the membership committee.
Kenyan Heritage
You must be of Kenyan origin — born in Kenya or of Kenyan parentage — and currently residing in the United States.
Financial Stability
You must demonstrate the financial capacity to meet your monthly circle contribution obligations consistently and on time.
Referral by a Current Member
All applicants must be referred by an active UCG member in good standing. Cold applications are not accepted.
Commitment to the Values
You must agree to uphold UCG's core values: integrity, discipline, community, education, transparency, and long-term thinking.
Willingness to Participate
Membership is active, not passive. You are expected to engage in financial education sessions, circle obligations, and community governance.
The Membership Process
Referral
A current UCG member in good standing refers you to the organization. They vouch for your character, financial discipline, and alignment with UCG values.
Application
You complete a membership application providing your background, financial situation, and reasons for wanting to join. All information is kept strictly confidential.
Verification
The membership committee reviews your application and may conduct a brief interview. We verify identity, residency, and alignment with our eligibility criteria.
Approval
Approved applicants are formally welcomed into the organization and receive the UCG Member Handbook, governance documents, and onboarding materials.
Circle Placement
New members are placed on the waiting list for the next available Unity Circle formation. Circle placement is based on availability and member readiness.
What Is Expected of Every Member
UCG membership is a commitment, not a subscription. Every member is expected to uphold the following obligations for the benefit of the entire community.
Timely Contributions
Meet all circle contribution deadlines without exception. Late or missed contributions affect every member in the circle and will be addressed by the committee.
Financial Education Participation
Attend and engage with UCG financial education sessions. Knowledge is a shared resource — every member benefits when every member grows.
Governance Participation
Participate in organizational decisions, votes, and meetings. UCG is member-governed — your voice matters and your presence is expected.
Confidentiality
Respect the privacy of all members. Financial information, personal circumstances, and internal discussions are strictly confidential.
